About Us
Who We Are
We are husband and wife duo, Nick and Elaina McMillan, with twin boys, Townes and Ryker.
Nick, an MRI Technologist at a level 1 trauma hospital in Saint Paul, and Elaina a Product Marketing Manager for a large healthcare company in Minneapolis, decided to leave their jobs and home behind to pursue their childhood dream and a life of intention and purpose.
And on November, 3, 2017, we moved from the Twin Cities to put down fresh roots on 16 acres in a small town we'd never heard of before, Cumberland, WI.

Why We Grow
We grow to provide healthy and nutritious food for our community in a way that's regenerative and sustainable for the earth.
We grow to create a life for our boys where they bear witness to what turning dreams into reality looks like every day.
We grow as a way to give back to our earth, while doing something good for our bodies, minds, and souls.

How We Grow
We grow naturally, without the use of pesticides, herbicides, or chemical fertilizers.
We grow small, on only a 1/4 to 1/2 an acre so we can work the land by hand and without heavy equipment to keep our soil and it's microbial life healthy and intact.
We grow regeneratively, by rotating various crops through our garden beds, using cover crops, and natural/organic compost and fertilizers (such as fishmeal and alfalfa) we're able to replenish the earth with nutrients that are often depleted during the growing process.
